The cockpit cover 2 covers the R1200GSs tachometer unit．
In addition， it features two integral， fused sockets． For example， mobile phones or GPS units can thus be plugged into the cockpit directly without having to run annoying cables around the motorbike．
Because of the fused direct connection， these units can be charged even when ignition is off． Normally this causes problems with the R1200GS． This black cover is made from powder−coated aluminium and includes stainless steel mounts．
It fits perfectly． The unit can be fitted alone or in conjunction with the cockpit cover 1 （Item number 044−0552）．
コックピットカバー2はR1200GSのメーターユニット周辺をカバーします。またそれは視覚的な意味があるだけではなく、様々なアクセサリの接続に便利なHellaソケットとシガーソケットを各1個づつ追加できるようになります（なお電源はバッテリーからヒューズユニットを介して直接供給されます）。
ブラックパウダーコートの施されたアルミニウム製のこのカバーはコックピットカバー1（01−044−0552−0）と共に組み合わせて装着することが可能です。
